Our Christchurch-based osteopathic team is made up of highly skilled practitioners and friendly administrators, all dedicated to improving the lives of our patients.
Our focus is twofold – we provide immediate relief from pain and discomfort while simultaneously addressing the underlying cause of that pain. We diagnose areas of weakness, correct imbalances and enhance the way our patients' bodies function, constantly searching for the long-term solution rather than the short-term fix. The end result? Healthier, happier people leading fuller, more active lives.
We can help! For specific information on these issues, see "How We Can Help" or go right ahead and click on "Make a Booking" to get help now.
Osteopathy is a form of ‘manual medicine’ that addresses health issues by massaging, stretching and manipulating muscles and joints. Osteopaths go further than the site of an injury, addressing the root cause of pain and discomfort in a bid to prevent ongoing issues. Osteopathy is used to solve an exhaustive array of problems, from neck and back pain, occupational overuse syndrome and sporting injuries to problems with flexibility.
As a team we are committed to the ongoing evolution of our knowledge, constantly studying the latest developments in the field and regularly attending local and international conferences.
When ACC accepts your injury claim, a specific number of osteopathic treatments are allocated to you depending on the type of injury. ACC pays a portion of the consultation fee, while you only pay the appropriate surcharge as listed in the above table. ACC may also assist with travel expenses. If you have any questions regarding your ACC claim, please call the ACC Helpline on 0800 101 996.
