Tori was drawn to osteopathy because of her passion to help and support people through manual therapy. She enjoys treating the large variety of patients that comes with being an osteopath, and finds that this helps her to consistently strive to do the best for every patient. Her holistic approach when assessing her patients, enables her to tailor her treatment to best fit her patients wants, needs and lifestyles.

Tori brings with her an interest in treating a broad range of conditions, she is particularly interested in chronic stress research. She can provide stress management education, plans and tools with which her patients can use to help reduce their feelings of stress. She can apply specific techniques aimed to reduce tension in strained areas, and encourage a more restorative state. This is an example of how Tori treats more globally, getting the all-round picture, rather than treating locally.

Tori has a background in sport climbing, bouldering and yoga. She’s able to use this knowledge to offer her patients specific guidance towards exercising, strengthening, stretching, mobilising, and home self-management. She’s also had her fair share of injuries and understands the importance of recovering as quickly as possible. Tori has a love for the great outdoors and in her spare time she enjoys being out on the trails and/or adventuring with her dog, Bodhi.

Tori is available for appointments at both our Halswell Rd and Merivale Clinics.
