Marshall Stark

BSc Musculoskeletal Health, PGDip Osteopathy

Osteopath

Osteopathy’s emphasis on individualized care and broad consideration of influencing factors are two major aspects which encouraged Marshall to study and practice osteopathy.

Marshall Stark

Marshall has experienced osteopathy’s benefits personally in addition to witnessing family and friends receive support through osteopathic treatment. An interest in the body’s natural healing abilities and a passion for meeting new people and supporting their recovery made osteopathy a perfect fit.

In 2021 Marshall completed a bachelor’s degree in musculoskeletal health, followed by completion of a post-graduate diploma in osteopathy in 2022 from Ara Institute of Canterbury. Marshall treats a broad range of presentations utilizing various techniques to achieve results with patients. He plans to increase his knowledge of osteopathy’s contribution to the management of chronic pain, specifically regarding the influence of psychological factors on patients’ physical experiences.

Outside of osteopathy Marshall is passionate about outdoor activities including tramping, skiing, and waterskiing. He is excited to build relationships with his patients and support them in participating and returning to activities they enjoy.

Marshall is available at Merivale Osteopathy on Mondays and Thursdays. You can also book with him on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays at Wairakei Osteopathy.

Marshall treats patients aged 8 and above.
