I understand the challenges that patients face when dealing with injuries. My background in ballet gives me a genuine insight into injuries sustained at all levels of fitness and experience.

Zoe is a masters graduate from the British School of Osteopathy (BSO) in London and has been practising in New Zealand since 2014.

She uses a predominately structural approach to osteopathic treatment which incorporates soft tissue, articulation and manipulation techniques. She enjoys treating a range of complaints from acute injuries to more ongoing chronic issues or longstanding pain.

Prior to osteopathy, Zoe trained at the English National Ballet School so understands both the demands placed on the body during high intensity training and the challenges that her patients face when dealing with injuries.

Recently attending the International Association of Dance and Science Conference in Sydney, she keeps up with latest in dance medicine and rehabilitation research.

Zoe also has a special interest in women's health, obstetrics and pelvic pain.

In her spare time, Zoe enjoys yoga, hiking, theatre and is starting to learn to surf!

Zoe works full time between our 2 locations. Appointments are available from Tuesday to Saturday.

I was first recommended to Melinda whilst training for an ironman event. A recurring back injury was effecting my ability to train. I had seen several chiros and physios however it was getting worse. I wasn't sure what to expect but I liked Melinda instantly. She is extremely professional, and has a compassionate nature. Melinda spent time with me, communicated what she thought had caused the issues and gave me exercises to prevent it recurring. My body responded very quickly and the results were a lot more positive and quicker than I had expected. With Melinda's help I managed to get to race day without any injuries. Considering the amount of training I did during that time, I think it's remarkable and I know it would not have been possible without her assistance.

It wasn't until I had a life changing accident, when I broke my neck, that I really appreciated Melinda's expertise. Understandably, I was extremely nervous about anybody touching my neck. Melinda was the only health professional I would trust. She has a practical and realistic approach to get you back to where you want to be.
